The group has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 24% in 2023 compared with 2022, despite strong sales growth.

' This has been made possible by the fact that its main suppliers have doubled their use of renewable energies in 2023 compared to the previous year ' says the group.

The group highlights the use of less carbon-intensive materials in their products, the introduction of low-carbon shipping rates by Puma's logistics partner, through the use of renewable electricity or by purchasing renewable energy certificates in its own operations and investing in electric vehicles in its car fleet.

Compared to the 2017 baseline, this means an absolute reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 29%.

' We are very proud of the progress we have made in our sustainability approach in 2023, particularly with regard to the reduction of greenhouse gases ', said Anne-Laure Descours, Purchasing Director at Puma.
