Pricer, announced a strategic partnership with PaperShell, in a move towards sustainable material for Pricer's products and ultimately for the whole electronics sector. The collaborative effort between Pricer and PaperShell signifies an increased focus on environmental circular innovation. The ultimate goal is to be a pioneer with components in electronic shelf labels made of 100% bio-based material with no fossil components.

PaperShell is a new 100% fossil-free material based on waste streams from the agricultural and forest industry to re-engineer wood into 100% biocomposites. PaperShell's similarity to glass fiber composites makes it the first potential bio composite candidate to replace the glass fiber material in electronics and create a substantial win for the environment with reduction of CO2e emissions of 98%, unprecedented reduction in toxicity and potentially carbon net zero and beyond if circular systems solutions are applied.
