Parque Arauco S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was CLP 60,774.92 million compared to CLP 54,210.5 million a year ago. Net income was CLP 15,500.78 million compared to CLP 45,965 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 17.11 compared to CLP 50.75 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 17.11 compared to CLP 50.75 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was CLP 118,728.33 million compared to CLP 103,731.46 million a year ago. Net income was CLP 29,933.43 million compared to CLP 52,395.18 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 33.05 compared to CLP 57.85 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CLP 33.05 compared to CLP 57.85 a year ago.
Parque Arauco SA is a Chile-based company engaged in the real estate industry. The Company focuses on the acquisition, development and management of multi-format real estate assets, mainly for commercial use. The Company owns and operates various formats of shopping centers, such as regional, neighborhood, outlet malls and strip centers. It rents commercial space to department stores, home improvement stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cinemas, as well as health centers, among others.
