An unknown fund managed by Bracebridge Capital, LLC entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 95% stake in portfolio of non performing exposures of National Bank of Greece S.A. (ATSE:ETE) on July 29, 2022. The transaction is expected to be completed within second half of 2022, subject to required approvals. Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc acted as financial advisor and arranger of the transaction, while Clifford Chance LLP and Karatzas & Partners acted as international and local external legal counsel to National Bank of Greece, respectively. As of June 30, 2023, the transaction is expected to close in H1, 2023. Christina Papanikolopoulou and Paris Tzoumas of Zepos & Yannopoulos Law Firm acted as legal advisor to Bracebridge Capital.
