Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was PHP 26,658 million compared to PHP 22,272 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 10,888 million compared to PHP 7,849 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 2.42 compared to PHP 1.75 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was PHP 77,236 million compared to PHP 62,089 million a year ago. Net income was PHP 31,786 million compared to PHP 23,435 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was PHP 7.07 compared to PHP 5.21 a year ago.
