Adac Guide 2022: the Superplatz label awarded to two Maistra campsites this year

This year's edition of the prestigious European camping guide published by the German automobile club ADAC once again reaffirmed the inspectors' assessment which ranked Croatia as one of the destinations with the finest campsites in Europe. Among them are two of Maistra's campsites in Rovinj - Polari and Veštar.

ADAC, the German automobile club founded in 1903, has 18 million members today and is the biggest automobile club with the largest database of campsites in Europe. At ADAC, they pay special attention to camping - the popularity and relevance of their camping guide are reflected in the fact that it is referred to as "the camping bible". To be awarded the Superplatz label for 2022, campsites Polari and Veštar had to meet the strict and demanding criteria of the ADAC inspectors divided into five categories: site, swimming opportunities, recreational offering, campsite stores and sanitary facilities.

It is worth mentioning that this year's traditional competition for best campsites in Croatia and Slovenia - Best Campsite Adria, held by the Slovenian camping web portal Avtokampi.si, once again put Maistra's campsite Valkanela in first place in the category of large campsites. The quality of campsite Koversada was reaffirmed, just like last year, by receiving the highest number of votes by naturist guests.
