Macroblock, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 825.635 million compared to TWD 351.485 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 129.372 million compared to operating loss of TWD 14.791 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 126.380 million compared to TWD 13.337 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.84 compared to TWD 0.33 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 1,401.925 million compared to TWD 899.188 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 153.570 million compared to TWD 4.670 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 157.864 million compared to TWD 30.407 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.55 compared to TWD 0.74 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.54 compared to TWD 0.74 a year ago.
Macroblock Inc is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the design, manufacture and distribution of light emitting diode (LED)-drive integrated circuits. The main products include LED-drive integrated circuits, mixed digital and analog integrated circuits, lighting products and power modules, full array local dimming-drive integrated circuits, LED display modules. The products are applied in LED displays, liquid crystal displays, LED lightings and other areas. The Company is also engaged in the wholesale and retail of electronic materials, the international trading business, the product design business, and the electronic component manufacturing business. The Company operates within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Asia, Europe and the Americas.
