Locaweb Serviços de Internet S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 313.9 million compared to BRL 282.51 million a year ago. Net loss was BRL 38.83 million compared to net income of BRL 13.26 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.07 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of BRL 0.02 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.07 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of BRL 0.02 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was BRL 616.75 million compared to BRL 531.28 million a year ago. Net loss was BRL 31.6 million compared to net income of BRL 17.79 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.05 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of BRL 0.03 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.05 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of BRL 0.03 a year ago.
