KG Dongbu Steel Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 982,829.92 million compared to KRW 647,803 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 68,435.22 million compared to KRW 28,046.21 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 684 compared to KRW 280 a year ago. Along with subsidiaries, the Company operates its business through two segments. The Steel segment is involved in the manufacturing and sale of cold rolled steel sheets, galvanized steel sheets, pre-coated sheets, tin plate steel sheets, steel pipes and tubes. The Other segment is involved in the port unloading, cargo storage management, rental and transportation. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets.
