KAZTRANSOIL On October 04, 2022 the international rating agency Fitch Ratings Ltd published «KazTransOil» JSC's rating report. The rating of the company has remained unchanged since its confirmation in June 2022 at «BBB-», outlook «Stable».
According to the report, the company's strong operational and financial profile is underpinned by its dominant position as the national operator in the oil transportation sector, which is critical for the national economy. Meanwhile the company's rating is constrained by that of JSC NC «KazMunayGas» («BBB-», outlook - «Stable»).
Fitch assesses «KazTransOil's» own creditworthiness at the bbb level, taking into account the strategic importance of the company for the country's economy, the stable formation of cash flows of «KazTransOil» JSC, the absence of financial debt as of the end of 2021, as well as the regulatory framework and risks associated with operating activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
