On February 14, 2024, Irish Residential Properties REIT, announced that shareholder's vote for EGM through Broadridge Financial Solutions, a third-party platform used by fund and asset manager had been canceled as this followed an error on the Broadridge voting instruction platform. The Company said that Broadridge has confirmed to the Company that the issue has been addressed and all voting instructions that had been submitted via the Broadridge voting instruction platform canceled have been resubmitted. The Company added that Broadridge is a system used by institutional shareholders to vote, and the Company has no role in the selection of Broadridge as a third-party processor.

The Company announced to ensure that shareholders are aware they may need to recast their vote and every shareholder must be allowed to validly vote at the EGM, shareholders have been able to submit their votes via other means and will also be able to vote in person at the EGM. Additionally, the Company said that at EGM, shareholders will be asked to vote on motions proposed by Vision Capital, that the Company is required to consider a comprehensive strategic review to assess options, including a sale of the company or its assets, or a process to sell the Company or its assets in an organized manner over the next two years.
