Hotai Motor Co.,Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 62,399.75 million compared to TWD 49,697.28 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 71,623.74 million compared to TWD 57,490.62 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 7,046.97 million compared to net loss of TWD 813.52 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 12.65 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.46 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 12.65 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 1.46 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 121,715.13 million compared to TWD 104,362.65 million a year ago. Revenue was TWD 139,532.51 million compared to TWD 118,532.56 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 12,110.38 million compared to TWD 3,479.77 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 21.74 compared to TWD 6.25 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 21.73 compared to TWD 6.24 a year ago.

The Company primarily provides passenger cars and business vehicles, with brands named LEXUS, TOYOTA and others, as well as large-sized vehicles, including trucks and passenger cars, with brands named HINO. In addition, it is involved in the provision of air conditioners for vehicles, vehicle leasing services and installment payment services, as well as parts and components for vehicles.
