Toshihiro Mibe, Honda CEO: Affordable EV project with GM put on hold

Honda Motor Co (HMC) CEO Toshihiro Mibe announces that the group is putting its plans for joint development of affordable electric vehicles with General Motors Co (GM) on hold due to the changing business environment. He also states that the company plans to launch electric vehicles with solid-state batteries by 2030.
