Grupo Lamosa, S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2021. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 8,008.3 million compared to MXN 5,902.49 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 801.01 million compared to MXN 1,374.4 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 2.08 compared to MXN 3.6 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 2.08 compared to MXN 3.6 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was MXN 27,186.76 million compared to MXN 19,473.44 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 3,429.09 million compared to MXN 1,647.28 million a year ago.
Grupo Lamosa SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the construction and real estate sectors. The Companyâs activities are structured into four business areas, namely Tiles and Flooring, Adhesives and Waterproofing, Sanitary Ware and Real Estate Development. The Tiles and Flooring area offers such brand names, as Porcelanite, Lamosa, Italica and Firenze Tecnoarte.
