Grupo Lamosa, S.A.B. de C.V. announced the financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of MXN 4,586 million as compared to MXN 2,857 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 786 million as compared to MXN 545 million a year ago. EBITDA was MXN 1,050 million as compared to MXN 702 million a year ago. Net loss was MXN 83 million as compared to net income of MXN 292 million a year ago.
For the year, the company reported net sales of MXN 13,619 million as compared to MXN 10,636 million a year ago. Operating income was MXN 2,441 million as compared to MXN 1,788 million a year ago. EBITDA was MXN 3,124 million as compared to MXN 2,334 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 672 million as compared to MXN 701 million a year ago. Net debt as on December 31, 2016 was MXN 9,341 million.
Grupo Lamosa SAB de CV is a Mexico-based company engaged, through its subsidiaries, in the construction and real estate sectors. The Companyâs activities are structured into four business areas, namely Tiles and Flooring, Adhesives and Waterproofing, Sanitary Ware and Real Estate Development.
