Ferroglobe PLC reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was USD 448.63 million compared to USD 569.77 million a year ago. Net income was USD 25.35 million compared to USD 51.45 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.14 compared to USD 0.27 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.13 compared to USD 0.27 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was USD 2,597.92 million compared to USD 1,778.91 million a year ago. Net income was USD 459.46 million compared to net loss of USD 110.62 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.45 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.63 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.43 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.63 a year ago.
