(Alliance News) - eVISO Spa reported Tuesday that it has increased total volumes in the gas segment -- for direct users subscribed to eVISO in March -- to five million cubic meters, equivalent to an annual turnover of more than EUR4 million, thanks to "the strengthening of the commercial network," as specified in a note.

The consumption data are provided by the Integrated Information System, a public body that manages information flows related to the electricity and gas markets.

The company specifies that "the figure shows a 200 percent growth compared to what was recorded in the full year July 2022-June 2023 equal to 1.7 Mmc, a volume already balanced in just six months as shown by the 1.6 Mmc disbursed in the first half of July-December 2023, representing a real step change in the development of the segment."

Franco Pancino, commercial director of eVISO, commented, "The commercial network continues its expansion strategy both at the level of penetration in eVISO's historical areas such as the province of Cuneo and the province of Turin, and at the geographical level with the opening of the province of Imperia. Thanks to a major training effort, salespeople have begun to bundle the power offer with the gas offer in a structured way. This bundled offer is very convincing, and I am confident that the results achieved so far are just the springboard to aim for even greater heights in our next fiscal year."

eVISO's stock rises 4.4 percent to EUR3.34 per share.
