Entertainment Network (India) Limited received an order (?Order?) from the Superintendent of Central Tax, Seethammapeta Range, Visakhapatnam North Division levying a penalty of INR 0.402 million on the Company under section 74 of the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Date of receipt of direction or order, including any ad-interim or interim orders, or any other communication from the authority: Order dated March 25, 2024 was received on March 27, 2024. The Order was passed alleging short payment of tax and wrongful claim of input tax credit for the period July 2017 to March 2018.
The Company intends to file an appeal against the Order.
