Empiric Student Property (ESP) has announced the appointment of Joanne Pollard as chief operating officer (COO). In the newly created role, Pollard will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing ESP?s service delivery for its residents, reporting directly to ESP chief executive Duncan Garrood.Pollard will join ESP from Prime Student Living, where she served as managing director for three years. In total, Pollard has more than 10 years of experience in the student housing and wider living sectors.

She has previously worked at Campus Living Villages and The Mansion Group, where she held senior positions in operations. The newly appointed COO also has experience outside the student accommodation sector, serving in lead customer service roles at Abbey National and BUPA.?ESP delivers outstanding performance through a high-quality, service-first approach,?
