INVITATION TO ATTEND SECURITIES INVESTMENT AND TRADING (SIT) COURSE

The DSE will conduct its SIT Course from 5th June 2023 to 23th June 2023 at the DSE Offices. This course is aimed at enhancing skills and capacity of the securities industry market participants, college students and investors.

During this course, you will be equipped with knowledge about: The Financial Services Industry; Asset Classes ("Cash, Bonds, Property, Equities, Derivatives and Commodities"); Equity Market; Bond Market; Overview of Financial Statement; Financial Analysis and Valuation ;Investment Management ("Risk & Return, Portfolio construction theories, Investment strategies, performance measurement and Collective Investment Funds"); CSD Registry & Operations; Highlight of DSE Rules; Brokerage Operations; and Lifetime Financial Provision ("Retirement planning, Protection planning, Estate planning, Trusts and foundations").

Treasury Managers, Accountants, Risk Managers, Investment advisors, Lawyers, Investment Bankers, Investor Relations officers, Bond Dealers, Audit committee members, Fund Managers, Accounting Officers, employees of securities brokerage firms, Mutual funds, Hedge funds, Pension Funds Managers, Insurance companies, University Students and any other interested party.

Training Fee

Application Fee is TZS 50,000/= Online Application form is available on DSE website

Participants attending physical classes are required to pay a fee of TZS 1,500,000/= while those preferring Virtual session is only TZS 1,300,000/=. A special early bird discount of 5% will be offered to those who will pay the training fee before 25th May 2023.

University students can apply for up to 60% partial scholarship by submitting their Letter of intent for scholarship, academic records and proof of student's status.

All Registration fees are 18% VAT inclusive.
