Danone today announced the appointment of three Deputy General Managers (DGMs) to enhance its performance and further implement the Renew Danone strategy.
Véronique Penchienati-Bosetta, currently General Manager International, is appointed Group DGM, DG International and DG Specialized Nutrition, Waters, Global Marketing & Digital. She will oversee the Zones Europe, CNAO (China, North Asia and Oceania) and Rest of the World (CIS, AMEA).
Shane Grant, until now General Manager North America, has been appointed Group General Manager, DG Americas and DG Dairy and Vegetable Products, and Global Sales. He will oversee the NORAM (North America) and LATAM (Latin America) zones, as well as the Dairy and Vegetable Products (EDP) category and the Global Customer & Commercial Leadership functions.
Juergen Esser, currently Executive Vice President Finance, Technology & Data, is appointedDGA Groupe, in charge of the Finance, Technology & Data functions.
Danone also announces thatNigyar Makhmudova, Executive Vice President Growth, andFloris Wesseling, Executive Vice President Europe, members of Danone's Executive Committee, have decided to pursue new professional opportunities outside the Group.
Finally, Danone announces the appointment ofPablo Perversien as Executive Vice President Europe. Previously, he was Director of Innovation, Quality and Sustainable Development at Barry Callebaut and Vice President Foods Europe and member of the Executive Committee of Unilever Europe.

Danone is one the world leading food-processing groups. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- dairy products and plant products (51.9%; No. 1 worldwide): fresh fermented milk products, creams, products and drinks of plant origin (based in particular on soya, almond, hazelnut, rice, oats and coconut);
- specialized nutrition products (30.8%): baby foods (No. 1 worldwide; foods for infants and young children in addition to breastfeeding) and medical nutrition products (No. 2 in Europe; foods for people suffering from certain pathologies or people weakened by age);

At the end of 2023, the group had more than 174 production sites throughout the world.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (8.4%), Europe (25.5%), North America (25%), China/Japan/Australia/New Zealand (12.7%), Latin America (10.1%) and other (18.3%).
