Cosmos Initia Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:8844) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 280,000 shares, representing 0.83% of its share capital, for ¥160 million. The company will repurchase its shares in order to secure the treasury shares to be issued to its officers under its compensation system. The share repurchase program will run until July 7, 2019. As of March 31, 2019, the company had 33,906,528 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 4,691 shares in treasury.
