Coris Bank International SA signed an agreement to acquire Societe Generale Mauritaniene S A R L from Société Générale Société anonyme.

Coris Bank International SA (BRVM:CBIBF) signed an agreement to acquire Societe Generale Mauritaniene S A R L from Société Générale Société anonyme (ENXTPA:GLE) on June 7, 2023. In related transaction, Coris Bank International SA agreed to acquire Société Générale Tchad and Vista Group agreed to acquire ociété Générale Congo and Société Générale de Banques en Guinée Équatoriale. The transaction is subject to approval of relevant financial and regulatory authorities.

The transaction is expected to complete by end of 2023. Patrick Larrivé, Safaa El Khammal, Christy Komba-Malongo, Donatien Michel, Guy-Fabrice Holo, Abdallah Ktiri and Assia Khalidi of Asafo & Co. RCI acted as legal advisor to Coris Bank International SA (BRVM:CBIBF).
