CHINA SHENHUA ENERGY COMPANY LIMITED On November 17, the China National Coal Association held the 30th anniversary celebration for safe and efficient coal mine construction in the coal industry and the promotion conference for high-quality development, at which safe and efficient coal mines (open-pit), safe and efficient corporations, 10 million-tonne coal mining teams, 1,000-meter tunneling teams, and coal mines with work efficiency of 100 tonnes/miner of 2020-2021 were commended. Shendong Coal and its coal mines and mining teams won awards at the event.
Shendong Coal was cited as a "safe and efficient corporation", and all of its 14 coal mines were titled as "super safe and efficient coal mines (open-pit)". Besides, three sub-unit teams including the No.1 long-wall mining team of Bulianta Coal Mine, the No.1 long-wall mining team of Shangwan Coal Mine, and the No.5 long-wall mining team of Daliuta Coal Mine were named "10 million-tonne mining teams of safe and efficient coal mines for 2020-2021"; nine sub-unit teams, including the No.2 and No.3 continuous mining teams of Jinjie Coal Mine, the continuous mining team of Shangwan Coal Mine, the No.1 continuous mining team of Halagou Coal Mine, the No.3 continuous mining team of Daliuta Coal Mine, the No.2 and No.5 continuous mining teams of Huojitu mine of Daliuta Coal Mine, the No.3 bolting and mining team of Bulianta Coal Mine, and the No.1 continuous mining team of Yujialiang Coal Mine, were selected as the "1,000-meter tunneling teams of safe and efficient coal mines for 2020-2021". The Shangwan, Jinjie and Halagou coal mines won the title of "safe and efficient coal mines with raw coal mining efficiency of more than 100 tonnes per miner for 2020-2021".
In recent years, the company has thoroughly implemented the new national energy security strategy, and continuously promoted the construction of safe and efficient coal mines and mining teams. Its sub-unit mining teams have maintained a high level in terms of output and tunneling efficiency. The company leads the industry in the numbers of 10 million-tonne coal mining teams, 1,000-meter tunneling teams and coal mines with raw coal mining efficiency of more than 100 tonnes per miner.
