CHINA SHENHUA ENERGY COMPANY LIMITED Recently, China Shenhua's corporate governance practice case "Exploring the establishment of a Replicable ESG Governance System for Energy Enterprises" was included in the 2023 ESG Best Practice Cases and Excellent Practice Cases of Chinese Public Companies at the first China Listed Companies Sustainable Development Conference hosted by the China Association of Public Companies (CAPC).
The ESG Committee of the CAPC organized experts to conduct three rounds of assessment and review of the 451 ESG practice cases of listed companies collected at the conference, and finally selected 120 ESG best practice cases and 325 excellent practice cases of listed companies, involving a total of 13 topics under the four dimensions of environmental conservation, social responsibility, corporate governance and ESG comprehensive practice.
China Shenhua regards building a first-class ESG governance system as an important strategic foundation for promoting its own reform, innovation, transformation and upgrading, and enhancing its own sustainable development capabilities. To this end, it actively practices the concept of green development, continuously enriches governance practices, carries out targeted information disclosure, and spreads model governance practices, playing a leading and exemplary role in ESG practices.
