Chian Hsing Forging Industrial Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 675.678 million compared to TWD 502.864 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 80.389 million compared to TWD 61.945 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 62.929 million compared to TWD 42.725 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.82 compared to TWD 0.56 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 1,297.408 million compared to TWD 990.648 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 148.722 million compared to TWD 108.092 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 118.023 million compared to TWD 73.448 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.54 compared to TWD 0.96 a year ago.
Chian Hsing Forging Industrial Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company mainly engaged in the forging manufacture and processing of automobile parts, bicycle parts, motorcycle parts and mechanical hardware parts. The automobile parts include transmission parts, suspension forgings, chassis parts, gears, clutches and others. The bicycle parts include steering bearings, crank bearings, transmissions, pedals and others. The motorcycle parts include steering bearings, transmission rod bases, transmission main and counter shafts, gears, aluminum bottles and others. The mechanical hardware parts include sports equipment parts, crankshafts, high-pressure joints, screw caps, alloy bearing forgings, pipeline forgings and others. The Company is also engaged in the provision of rail car forgings. The Company operates within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the Americas and mainland China.
