Chang Wah Technology Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 2,155.992 million compared to TWD 2,387.076 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 175.244 million compared to TWD 285.208 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 123.005 million compared to TWD 170.248 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 3.48 compared to TWD 4.71 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 3.48 compared to TWD 4.69 a year ago.
CHANG WAH TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based lead frame manufacturer. The Company's main products is involved in integrated circuit (IC) lead frames, encapsulated resin and light emitting diode (LED) lead frames. The Company's products are used in the IC industry and the optoelectronic industry. The lead frame can be divided into three categories including integrated circuit lead frame, photovoltaic element lead frame and light emitting diode lead frame according to the different chips. The Company distributes its products mainly to Asia and Europe.
