CGE Transmissions SA is a Chile-based company providing services in the electric energy sector with purpose of investments in assets and property, securities, and shares of corporations in the exploitation, development, generation, production, accumulation, operation, commercialization, transmission, transportation, and transformation of electric energy in any of its forms and in the supply of services necessary for such purpose. Divided into 2 segments. Electric Chile covers managing sales of electric energy, transmission, commercialization transformation of same, in the National Electric System or in any other system; and the administration or operation of electric transmission facilities, both its own and those of third parties. Services segment provides management, financial, commercial, planning, design, development and regulatory consulting as well as engineering services to its subsidiaries, affiliates and third parties for execution of all kinds of contracts and conventions.
