Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A ("Company" or "Eletrobras") (B3: ELET3, ELET5 & ELET6; NYSE: EBR & EBR.B; LATIBEX: XELT.O & XELT.B) hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general, within the scope of the Eletrobras privatization process, the Company is currently in the selection phase of the syndicate of banks that will be responsible for structuring the follow-on operation and distribution of the volume of shares to be issued by the Company.

Such contracting is provided for in article 1 of the Resolution of the Council of the Investment Partnership Program ("CPPI") No. 176, of April 27, 2021, which determines that Eletrobras will be responsible for contracting the specialized technical services necessary to carry out public offering of shares.

The Company will keep the market informed about the matter subject on this Announcement.
