CAPITAL BANK OF JORDAN Capital Bank of Jordan (ASE:CAPL) agreed to acquire Société Générale de Banque - Jordanie (ASE:SGBJ) from Société Générale de Banque au Liban SAL and others on December 23, 2021. Capital Bank of Jordan (ASE:CAPL) signed an agreement to acquire Société Générale de Banque - Jordanie (ASE:SGBJ) from Société Générale de Banque au Liban SAL and others on February 17, 2022. The transaction is approved by board directors of Capital Bank of Jordan and is subject to regulatory approval.
As of March 30, 2022, the Capital Bank of Jordan has completed the acquisition of a 91.1% stake in Société Générale and the acquisition of remaining stake will be completed in the coming weeks.
