(Alliance News) - The board of directors of Cairo Communication Spa on Monday reviewed and approved the draft financial statements as of December 31, 2022, which closed with a net profit attributable to the Group amounted to approximately EUR32.1 million from EUR51 million in 2021, "when it had benefited EUR7.3 million from the capital gain realized in the sale of Unidad Editorial Juegos SA," the company specifies.

The board of directors will propose to the shareholders' meeting the distribution of a dividend of EUR0.14 per share from EUR0.18 in the previous year.

In 2022, consolidated gross revenues were about EUR1.17 billion including gross operating revenues of EUR1.12 billion and other revenues and income of EUR49.2 million, down EUR100,000 in 2021

EBITDA and operating income were EUR147.1 million and EUR69.3 million, respectively, EUR179.4 million and EUR103.2 million in 2021.

Consolidated net financial debt as of December 31, 2022 was about EUR15.2 million from a positive net financial position of EUR37 million at the end of 2021.

Cairo Communication on Monday is down 1.8 percent to EUR1.77 per share.
