Byggmax Group AB (publ) reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was SEK 1,960 million compared to SEK 2,273 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 1,972 million compared to SEK 2,281 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 138 million compared to SEK 214 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2.36 compared to SEK 3.65 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2.36 compared to SEK 3.65 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was SEK 5,115 million compared to SEK 6,089 million a year ago. Revenue was SEK 5,143 million compared to SEK 6,116 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 123 million compared to SEK 373 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2.09 compared to SEK 6.37 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 2.09 compared to SEK 6.37 a year ago.
Byggmax Group AB is a Sweden-based company active within the construction materials retail sector. The Company is engaged in the discount retail of construction materials in the Nordic do-it-yourself (DIY) market. Its offering includes basic construction materials, such as wood, stone and concrete, isolation materials, doors, windows, flooring, paints and coatings, tools, screws, bolts, basic electrical and ventilation materials, kitchen and toilet fittings, as well as wooden cottage sets.
