(Alliance News) - Autostrade Merididionali Spa on Monday reported results for the first quarter of the year, in which revenues were reported down to EUR59,000 from EUR140,000 as of March 31, 2023.

The period ended in profit of EUR98,000 recovering a loss of EUR556,000 in 2023.

The company recalled in a note that "the concession for the operation of the A3 Naples-Pompeii-Salerno expired on December 31, 2012 and, following the tender procedure, from April 1, 2022 the project company Salerno Pompei Napoli Spa took over from Autostrade Meridionali in the management of the highway infrastructure."

Thus, the operations recorded in the first quarter of 2024 are attributable only to the management activities referable to the definition and payment of debts and collection of residual receivables, resulting from the past management of the freeway section, including the settlements of items related to tolls and activities contracted out in previous years.

As of March 31, Ebitda is negative EUR517,000 from negative EUR624,000 in 2023, while Ebit is negative EUR517,000 from negative EUR628,000.

Net financial position is EUR54.1 million, in line with the values as of December 31, 2023.

Autostrade Meridionali is flat at EUR14.76 per share.
