Today, on 5 December, after extensive reconstruction works, energy commodities trader and convenience store network AS VIR-I-A service station in Sarkandaugava, at Tvaika iela 3, has been opened. The Company invested a total of EUR 1.5 million in the reconstruction of the station, which involved the construction of a new building, replacement of fuel tanks and modernisation of the station area. -The opening of the new Sarkandaugava overpass and the increase in traffic that followed encouraged to carry out major reconstruction of Sarkandaugava station.

The company are delighted that after six months of work, another modern, energy-efficient and customer-friendly Vir-i power station has opened its doors to customers. The company also actively continuing the network expansion work in other locations in Riga and Pieriga. The company have recently opened a new station near Olaine, the company plan to open a new station on Viskalu iela in Riga by the end of the year, and in November and December the construction process starts for new stations in Sigulda and near Salaspils,- says Janis Viba, Chairman of the Board of Vir-i.
