Almendral SA is a Chile-based company primarily engaged in the telecommunications sector. Through Empresa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones SA (ENTEL), the Company offers a number of wired and wireless telecommunications services, such as mobile and fixed telephony, data transmission and communication, wireless and broadband Internet, business process outsourcing (BPO) and business data canter operation, among others. Its activities are divided into five segments: Individuals, including services for private customers; Business, offering services to legal entities; Corporate, offering services to private and public companies, banks and institutions, among others; Mobile, providing wireless services through Entel Peru SA in Peru, and Other, including rental of telecommunications network. In addition, through Inmobiliaria El Almendral SA, the Company is active in the real estate sector.
