Accor shares rose on Thursday on the Paris Bourse after HSBC raised its target price for the stock from 45 to 49 euros.

A buy on the stock, the broker believes that the French hotel group is well positioned, like its British competitor Whitbread, to take advantage of the buoyant elements in the sector, at a time when its share price continues to trade at a discount to its comparables.

At 12:15 pm, the share gained around 1%, while the SBF 120 index fell by 0.1%.
