1st Capital Bancorp had recently brought in a change within its executive management. Danelle Thomsen resigned as executive vice president, chief financial officer and principal accounting officer of Salinas California-based 1st Capital Bancorp Inc. and as chief financial officer of its subsidiary, 1st Capital Bank, effective August 11. Thomsen stepped down to pursue other career opportunities.

The bank has engaged Moritz Wohanka to serve as interim chief financial officer. A search is on for a permanent chief financial officer, the company added. 1st Capital Bank provides a wide range of credit products, including loans under various government programs such as those provided through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The bank's markets are commercial enterprises, professionals, real estate investors, family business entities and residents along the Central Coast region of California. The bank operates full-service banking offices in Monterey, Salinas, King City, San Luis Obispo, and Santa Cruz.
