(Alliance News) - 1Spatial PLC on Wednesday reported that it secured multi-year enterprise contracts in December, one of which is with a partner of Walldorf, Germany-based software company SAP SE.

The Cambridge-based data management software company said it signed a two-year contract with Rizing, a SAP partner, to support its transportation asset management system project for the California Department of Transportation.

Further, a "major" European utility customer renewed its software licence subscription for 1Spatial's GIS framework and 1Integrate products, extending the term to three years from one year.

Finally, 1Spatial reported a four-year contract with ATKIS-1Gen, a working group of Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Vermessungsverwaltungen der Laender that coordinates surveying and mapping in Germany. The total contract value is about EUR1.3 million.

Chief Executive Officer Claire Milverton said: "We are delighted to have been awarded these significant contracts from these major organisations, expanding our presence in Europe and the US. These wins demonstrate that the Land & Expand strategy in our Enterprise business is continuing to deliver organic growth, and alongside our 1Streetworks and NG911 offerings, we believe the opportunity for 1Spatial has never been greater."

1Spatial shares rose 1.5% to 52.25 pence each on Wednesday afternoon in London.
