Kristín Hrönn has been appointed managing director of Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) at Íslandsbanki. Kristín Hrönn has over 20 years of experience as a manager in the financial markets. Kristín Hrönn led the Sales and Service team within CIB 2013-2019 and has since then been the director of finance, operations and strategic planning within CIB.

She has also served as a member of the Bank´s credit committees, asset and liability committee and investment council. Kristín Hrönn takes over from Ásmundur Tryggvason, who held the position from the beginning of 2019 and has decided to step aside. Kristin Hrönn has a B.Sc.

degree in Economics from the University of Iceland, a management degree from IESE Business School in Barcelona and has completed a degree in securities trading.
