(Alliance News) - SolidWorld Group Spa announced Wednesday that it has won a EUR850,000 order from a historic Italian manufacturer of agricultural machinery components.

The order includes the supply of 3D software and the proprietary integration platform between the company's systems and SolidWorld's software to digitally manage the entire factory from an Industry 4.0 perspective.

Also grafted into the SolidWorld software under the order are artificial intelligence modules used for the product design cycle. The expected delivery date is by the first half of 2024.

"The contract represents an innovative synergy between SolidWorld Group's established leadership in industrial software and 3D printing technologies and the dynamic momentum of modern Agriculture 4.0. According to the Digital Innovation Smart Agrifood Observatory of the School of Management of the Milan Polytechnic University, agriculture 4.0 in Italy is a fast-growing sector, with turnover exceeding EUR2 billion by the end of 2022, with a 31 percent growth compared to 2021," the company explained.
