VOLUNTARY ANNOUNCEMENT

NANTONG JIANGHAI BUSINESS UPDATE

This announcement is made by the Company on a voluntary basis.

Nantong Jianghai, an associated company of the Group in which the Group has an equity interest of about 31.5%, announced on 14 May 2021 that the first lithium supercapacitor electric bus jointly developed by Nantong Jianghai and Higer Bus has been successfully launched.

The capacitors produced by Nantong Jianghai have always been the choice of high-end customers all over the world. Higer Bus is the leading researcher and manufacturer in new energy bus. The successful launching of the lithium supercapacitor electric bus will create more opportunities for Nantong Jianghai and Higer Bus to jointly research and develop similar products, which will have a positive impact in the enhancement of the profit of Nantong Jianghai.

Nantong Jianghai will market the new products according to the market situation. It is expected that the new products may not have a significant impact on the operating results of Nantong Jianghai in the short term.

An announcement (in Chinese) covering the details of the successful launching of the first supercapacitor electric bus jointly developed by Nantong Jianghai and Higer Bus is accessible at the website of the SZSE (www.szse.cn).
