WIELTON : launches first fully graphics based on-line tipper trailer configurator

WIELTON, the Polish recognized leader in national and export sales of semi-trailer tippers in Poland, in a clear statement of its new tipper strategy, has embarked into a world of unlimited tipper semi-trailer configuration possibilities.

The unique WIELTON designed on-line configurator launched in September this year reflects a response to the growing client demand for customized solutions in road transportation. Clients accessing the configurator through the products page on the Wielton web-site, are now able to define their tipper trailer needs; cubature, wall heights and thickness, length of trailer and choice of aluminium or steel construction.

FIRST STEP SCREEN SHOT

The following step is choosing from a broad range of options and accessories offered by Wielton. More importantly, the ever crucial final weight of the trailer is shown throughout the second stage process. The final configuration can be stored or sent to the nearest Wielton consultant for rapid price quotation, assembly and delivery. Alternatively the configuration can be generated in the attendance of the local Wielton representative.

The on-line configurator heralds a departure from restrictive product coded line-ups guided by lengthy and sometimes difficult to navigate product reference numbers. Use of the new configurator offers hundreds of customized possibilities. Each completed configuration receives its own unique configuration reference number which can be saved by the client and used later in the future when placing further identical orders for new semi-trailers.

The new tool allows clients to decide how much time and attention is needed by them to define the product needed by them either by themselves or with the guidance from the local Wielton representative. The graphics based interface makes it a friendly and easy to navigate system which works equally well on every form of internet accessible device.

For Client's outside of Poland the new configurator intuitively choses the users language based on recognizing the users country location leaving an option that the user can manually select the language of his choice. Wielton's export business is a mix of directly owned subsidiary companies in some countries, elsewhere the brand is represented by private owned importers. Semi-trailer tippers represent a key export product area of business however it is envisaged that the configurator tool will be extended in the future to other key product families.
