(Hong Kong, 18 July 2023) Wasion Holdings Limited (the "Company", "Wasion" or the "Group"; stock code: 3393.HK), China's leading provider of energy measurement equipment and energy-savingsolutions, is pleased to announce that a wholly-owned subsidiary established in Mexico have recently won a smart meter tender from a local power company with a total contract value of over RMB397 million (over HK$433 million).
WASION, S. DE R.L. DE C.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group established in Mexico, won a tender for smart meters from the Federal Electricity Commission of Mexico ("CFE") with a contract value of over MXN927 million (over RMB397 million or HK$433 million) and entered into a supply agreement with CFE Distribución. This successful bid further enhances the Group's brand internationalization and recognition by overseas customers.
Mr. Ji Wei, Chairman of the Group, said, "The Group has been consistently working towards expanding into overseas markets every year, actively establishing local subsidiaries and factories to increase its market share and access neighboring markets.
