The news reports about the Company, "According to Korean media reports, the
anti-trust enforcement authority of the South Korean has investigated and
found that 23 shipping companies are involved in jointly monopolized prices,
with a total fine of KRW 96.2 billion", etc.
7.Cause of occurrence:
To supplement clarifying the fine amount in the investigation by South Korea
governmental authority in the news report.
8.Countermeasures:Referring to the news reports about the
investigation by Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) on 1/18/2022,
the Company has received the written disposition from the competent
authority, and fine amount of KRW 11.512 billion (approximately NT$271
million) has no significantly adverse influence on the Company's
financial and business operations. The Company will further discuss
to protect the Company's rights and interests.
