United Power Generation & Distribution Company Limited (DSE:UPGDCL) signed a memorandum of understanding to acquire United Ashuganj Power Ltd. and Shajahanullah Power Generation Co. Ltd. on June 24, 2015. The deal will be financed through United's own funds.
The deal is expected to be completed within 90 days. The Board of United Power approved the deal.
