TienPin United Enterprise CO., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 7.655 million compared to TWD 6.750 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1.698 million compared to net loss of TWD 1.481 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.03 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.02 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 19.927 million compared to TWD 15.632 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 1.705 million compared to TWD 5.052 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.03 compared to TWD 0.08 a year ago.
TienPin United Enterprise CO., LTD (formerly: DataFab Systems Inc.) is engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture, assembly, testing and distribution of computer peripheral products. The Company provides card readers, adapters, express cards, liquid crystal displays, multimedia players, flash memory cards, as well as liquid crystal displays (LCDs), among others. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company obtained approximately 70.39% of its revenue from its card reader business. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the Americas, the rest of Asia and Europe.
