The Pilot LLC and several North Carolina based magazines acquired Walter Magazine from The McClatchy Company on October 16, 2020. All of Walter's current employees will continue in their current roles, and the magazine will sublet space in The News & Observer'soffice in downtown Raleigh. Walter will now include columns from three of North Carolina's most prominent writers: Jim Dodson, Wiley Cash and Daniel Wallace. The Pilot LLC and several North Carolina based magazines completed the acquisition of Walter Magazine from The McClatchy Company on October 16, 2020.
