Technip Energies gained over 1%, outperforming the trend in Paris, supported by comments from Berenberg, which initiated coverage of the energy engineering group with a 'buy' recommendation and a price target of 26 euros.

Although the share price has fallen by around 8% since the start of the year, the broker believes that "strong order momentum and execution track record mean that Technip Energies remains well positioned, with the pullback providing a good entry point".
