Synovus names David Buckles to Central Florida advisory board

ORLANDO, Fla., March 7, 2024 - Synovus has appointed David Buckles to its Central Florida advisory board.

Buckles is president of Foundation Academy, a private Christian school in Winter Garden, Florida. Since becoming president in 2015, Buckles has expanded school enrollment and land acreage, including adding a third campus. Under his leadership, the Foundation Academy was named one of Central Florida's top workplaces in 2022 by the Orlando Business Journal. Buckles is an ordained minister and earned an MBA from Capella University.
