Stride Property Group - New Director Appointed

Stride Investment Management Limited (SIML) is delighted to announce the appointment of Ross Buckley as an independent Director of the Board of Directors of the stapled companies, SIML and Stride Property Limited (trading as the NZX stapled security Stride Property Group (Stride)).

The appointment of Ross is part of the ongoing refresh of the Stride Boards, intended to ensure that the Boards continue to comprise a collective mix and balance of Director skills, experience and diversity.

Ross was a partner at KPMG for 26 years, and was most recently Executive Chair of KPMG for nearly 10 years. Ross retired from the KPMG partnership in October 2020 to pursue a governance career and is currently an independent director of ASB Bank, Independent Chair of Service Foods Limited, Chair of Massey Business School advisory board, and National Council member and Chair of the Auckland Branch of the Institute of Directors.

Chair Tim Storey welcomed the appointment, commenting 'Stride is very pleased to have Ross join the group. Ross's strong background in corporate governance, including nearly 10 years as the Executive Chair of KPMG, will be very valuable as Stride continues its strategy to grow its real estate investment management business.'

This appointment will take effect immediately. In accordance with the NZX Listing Rules, Ross will retire and stand for election at the next Stride Annual Shareholder Meeting, due to be held on 23 September 2021.
